Yuwei Zhang
Hi, I am Yuwei (Evelyn) Zhang, a second-year PhD student in the Mobile Systems Research Lab at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof. Cecilia Mascolo. I am a member of Jesus College and a Cambridge Trust Scholar. My research is jointly supported by Nokia Corporation and Cambridge Trust. I am generally interested in machine learning for mobile health monitoring, and my current research project focuses on generalizable pretrained deep learning models and multimodal LLMs for respiratory acoustic modeling. Previously, as a MPhil student at Clare Hall, I explored uncertainty-aware federated learning for trustworthy healthcare applications.
I received my bachelor degree from the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, where I have been very fortunate to work closely with Prof. Yang Chen on social computing.

Nov. 2024: Our recent work RespLLM has been accepted by ML4H 2024. Building upon OPERA, RespLLM presents an audio-text unified framework for health diagnosis.
Oct. 2024: OPERA (Towards Open Respiratory Acoustic Foundation Models: Pretraining and Benchmarking) has been accepted by NeurIPS D&B Track 2024!
