Yuwei Zhang
Hi, I am Yuwei (Evelyn) Zhang, a final-year PhD student in the Mobile Systems Research Lab at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof. Cecilia Mascolo. I am a member of Jesus College and a Cambridge Trust Scholar. My research is jointly supported by Nokia Corporation and Cambridge Trust. I am currently also a research intern at Apple.
My research focuses on multimodal foundation models for mobile and wearable health sensing, bridging the gap between continuous physiological sensor signals and large language models. Previously, as a MPhil student at Clare Hall, I explored uncertainty-aware federated learning for trustworthy healthcare applications.
I received my bachelor degree from the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, where I have been very fortunate to work closely with Prof. Yang Chen on social computing.
